One of these ordinary days, I suddenly feel the need to craft a fat beat, so I start with the rhythm which was used as the
basic. I need a fat funky beat, the kicks have to move my guts, a drumbeat that would have a life of it’s own. After 3
days I almost reach the right groove when I find one of these fantastic breakbeat which soon ends up in my groove
machine. I got it ! It’s here !! The right EQ, a few handclaps, and the mess up beat is now really hitting my ears and
my stomach. I now have to find a ladyfriend for my fat beat. I invite a piano loop who didn’t come until a few days later.
Those few notes are giving the track its proper dynamics, add a few moog riffs and now my turntable is nodding at me :
ok let's rock !!!!
